AUTOMATIC CHICKEN COOP DOOR OPENER

Quite a few changes from my last one from 2018. I like everything you updated. Hope this one lasts at least as long. Maybe will use up batteries faster. Time will tell.

Easy installation and the extension kit is great. I can program it, open and close it from outside the coop. I like the solar option as well. I don’t have to worry about batteries going bad. It is reliable and opens and closes when it is supposed to. Now I don’t have to wake up at 5:00am on the weekends anymore to let the chicks out.

great door replace a cheep one from amazon, the chicken gard door is way better, more sturdy and critter proof, works like a charm.

Only thing that could be improved is that the door tracks. Kind of disappointing that they are made of plastic and not metal. Overall tho, everything is perfect. We've got no complaints as of right now.

We bought thus to go on our metal sided chicken house. It worjs perfectly . The smallest hens to our large duck fit through.

The installation instructions were easy to understand. With a little modification to my chicken coop, I was able to quickly and easily mount the automatic door. My only feedback would be to have an option for an extension cable for the solar panel, for optimal placement, and to include information about all the additional features/settings included within the electronic program. However, the ability to sleep in soundly, knowing my chickens aren't stuck in a hot coop during the early summer mornings, is worth every penny spent! Thank you SO MUCH!

Would highly recommend. I've used a few other chicken door openers. This one is very easy to install or move and works great !

I love my door so far. It works well. I have to fine tune the light sensor limits but it’s great. Install was a bit tricky because of the way I approached it. If I did it again I would line my door up with the pop hole with the door up. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and not lining the door up with the pop hole to the best of my ability was killing me. Also I wish the line between the solar panel and the door control were a bit longer or if a compatible extension were offered. If it were, finding the optimal spot for the best performance would have been easier. Finally, I wish that I’d remembered to order the extension box. I’m ordering it now but a kit with it already included would be great.
